Facility Expansion Doubles Production Capacity at Widnes Site

Waternation Scientific has completed a significant capital investment programme at its Heron Business Park facility in Widnes, Cheshire, delivering a doubling of production and bottling capacity to meet growing demand from customers across the UK and mainland Europe.

The expansion, which was completed in December 2025, includes the installation of additional high-capacity bottling lines, an extended cleanroom manufacturing area, and upgraded purification infrastructure to support increased throughput without any compromise to product quality or batch consistency.

• New ISO 14644 Class 7 cleanroom production suite added
• Second high-speed bottling line now operational
• Expanded purified water generation capacity
• Additional cold-store and logistics handling space
• Enhanced in-line QC monitoring and environmental controls
